The 2017 campaign #ConstructingCareers was created by IBI Group for the Construction Cup tournament

Its aim is to raise awareness of the current labour shortage within the UK, and the varied employment opportunities that are available in the industry.

The variety of careers was evidenced by the diverse make‐up of the construction-based roles performed by the 280 male and female Construction Cup players; from Architects to Commercial Directors. The 40 teams who took part in the event showed their allegiance to the #ConstructingCareers campaign by speaking candidly on camera about career options, and highlighting the benefits of the industry to school leavers who are considering their next steps.
